We are currently looking for someone to work as a Calculation Engineer in Design Review! Currently, we are about 20 employees but are now seeking reinforcement. With us, you have the opportunity to take great responsibility and work on several parallel projects with the Nordic market leader.
About the role:
As a Design Review Engineer at Kiwa, you will work with accredited construction control of pressure-bearing devices. The work typically involves maintaining close contact with the customer and with colleagues in other departments, such as inspection and testing engineers. Our customers are primarily located in Sweden, but we also carry out international assignments. Since Design Review often comes in early in a customer project, an important part of the job is also to identify opportunities for others at Kiwa. In this position, you will work on several projects simultaneously, which requires you to work in a structured manner to achieve your goals.
We offer you internal training in regulations, standards, and calculation methods to complement your experiences and knowledge.
Your workplace is in Malmö.
Do you have what it takes?
To thrive in this role, we see that you are a self-driven, business-minded, and engaged person who easily takes initiative and is driven by working with a focus on solutions. You work in a structured and organized manner, and your social skills will be highly appreciated in the company.
Requirements:
- Degree as a Civil Engineer, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent. To qualify for the position, strength of materials must have been included in your education.
- Can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Have experience from the industry, particularly working with pressurized devices, boilers, and/or ADR/TPED.
Meritorious:
- A welding engineer degree IWE or IWT.
- Previous experience in Design Review.
What can you expect from us in return?
Kiwa is currently one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting, which we owe to our employees who, through their commitment and knowledge, contribute to safety and sustainability for our customers and society. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will constantly develop as part of Kiwa! With us, teamwork is important, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!
- Secure and stable employment - Kiwa has a collective agreement.
- Generous wellness allowance.
- Compensation for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis.
- A time bank so you can take time off when you want - not just when the calendar's red days occur.
- The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with about 100 wonderful colleagues.
